The new 2009 sails and rig components collection is a big step ahead both in terms of programs and performance level.

The introduction of a new sail line, the Superstyle, has completed the “simple approach” concept of our sail range, allowing both freestylers and advanced freeriders to find the right sail in the package.
A complete offer of the latest tri-ply coloured fabrics, moulded parts, new lightweight fabrics for intergrated mast protectors are just some of the new great features of our windsurfing sail line.

VOGUE 2009 “Beautiful and Exclusive”.

The Wave Vogue opens the RRD door to a hi-performance line of sails for the future.
The Wave Vogue is in a league of its own. Based on a bullet proof Tri-ply construction, this wave sail has enough detail and special
features to become the most exclusive wave sail in the market. The Wave Vogue is designed to perform at its best in pure wave
conditions, when power, control and acceleration have to be combined in a perfect balance. Power and control on demand.

PROGRAM Pure wave side

FEATURES The all X-ply body panelling plus tri-ply window of the Wave
Vogue creates a surf sail with a combination of a smooth feel
with ultimate durability. This smooth feel, combined with
Pump-ability, a Focussed Power Point and “quickly neutral”
handling, makes the Wave Vogue the sail of choice for riders
looking for top performance at the highest level in gnarly
surf conditions. The Wave Vogue is also an excellent choice
for lighter/smaller sailors in any conditions due to its short
boom length and soft, forgiving handling. The outline and
twist characteristics of the Wave Vogue make it feel lighter
and turn tighter in the waves, and therefore ideal to perform
in those unforgettable wave sessions.

SUPER STYLE 2009 “WorldWide Performer”.

The SUPER STYLE is the new entry in the 2009 RRD Sails range. The SUPER STYLE is a sail designed to suit most worldwide
wave sailing conditions with the small sizes and enjoy the ride in lighter wind conditions with the bigger sizes.
PROGRAM Pure wave - Freestyle
FEATURES For the sizes from 4.1 until 5.3 the SUPER STYLE excels in sideshore
and onshore conditions, riding small to giant surf, and soaring
huge jumps. Full draft and moderate boom length provides plenty
of power to move, and e ortless handling in super powered-up
conditions. The X-ply leech and 175 micron mono lm construction
give SUPER STYLE the lightweight and durability you need to go
for it with con dence.

For the sizes from 5.8 until 6.8 the SUPER STYLE is a powerful wave
sail, the sail of choice for maximum power, speed and mobility in
onshore surf or at water bump and jump sailing. The full, powerful
draft pro le of SUPER STYLE will give you plenty of speed
and control to get moving, carve hard, and jump high. Strong and
lightweight, those SUPER STYLE sizes handle beautifully in a wide
wind range and are built to last.

EVOLUTION 2009 “Fast, light and powerful”.

The Evolution Sails, the perfect and simple solution to all type of freeriding: speed and early planing for the sizes 9.0 until 6.5. Manouvers
and tricks for the 6.0 until 4.5. What a simple way to see windsurfing again!!! You need more power? Just release the outhaul. More top
end? Crank on the downhaul

PROGRAM Freeride
FEATURES A great performance sail with the shape perfectly locked
at 30% of the pro le, and equipped with rod battens, allowing
the sail to maintain a full, e cient pro le even
when sail is really attened out! The Evolution sail features
a diagonal stripe tensioner that helps the sail to
twist starting from the middle/top part of the mast.
A more progressive dynamic twist con guration that
allows more speed and control potential. Everyone that
has used the Evolution sail has immediately understood
that these ones are serious perfomers!

Designed to match the high level of performance of the Wave Vogue.
Lightweight and stiffness without compromise. Full pre-preg carbon reduced diameter
monocoque tube covered by super thin EVA creates a perfect comfortable handgrip.

A pin extension made by carbon pre-preg fibers that ensures a quick and easy trim to
any extension length desired, without losing boom stiffness. A completely new curve
and design in 2009.Designed to cover a great range of use in freestyle, freestyle wave and freeride sails.
With its monocoque construction, the superstyle boom allows to have a superior stifness
without the need of using a carbon construction. A new completely revised curve and grip
design, ensure a great performance level on all newly designed sails for 2009.

The T8 aluminum Evolution boom is made with a constant curve that fits perfectly all the
Evolution sails, having a max shaping point at 30% from the luff. Covered with superthin
grip on a reduced diameter of 29 mms and equipped with fast and durable front ends.

The Evo boom guarantees the right angle for the Evolution sails. New Curve, new Grip and
new tail and front end for 2009.

MASTS

All Mast Used for Vouge & Super Style Sails will be 75 % Carbon RDM

RDM Wave

Available in 4 different lengths, the Wave Vogue Mast is a high performance RDM mast designed specifically for the use on wave sails and the superstyle sails. The new Wave Vogue RDM mast is available in two different Carbon contents: 75% and 100%. They both offer an incredible strength together with a fantastic weight and improved rotation of the sail. The 75% is recommended for smaller size sails and the 100% for bigger sizes or anytime that response and stifness area must for performance.
