To go from one place to another can be a bit complicated for the foreigner who doesn’t know well the area , especially as there are very few road signs and the roads are very badly lit, also keep in mind that there isn’t a great deal of security in certain parts of Brazil , for these reasons you have to be careful when taking taxis and it’s always best to book a transfer in advance i,e from home, before starting your journey, and once you’ve arrived hire a car or travel with previously booked private transfers.
